I write because God told me to, with several purposes in mind.
The first purpose is to, through the power of the Holy Spirit, better understand how to study the Bible, which is “living” (Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23) and “active” (Hebrews 4:12; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
The second purpose is to communicate what I learn to believers so that, as they become more proficient in using Bible study techniques through diligent study and prayer, they develop a growing dependence on the teaching of the Holy Spirit, resulting in life change.
The third purpose of my writing is to better comprehend the saving gospel of Jesus Christ, thereby more effectively communicating its truth so that the lost would be saved and the saved would grow spiritually, resulting in life change.
Many sincere Christians struggle to develop the habit of Bible study. Recently, I came across a Bible reading plan by the Navigators called the “5 Chapter Bible Reading Plan.” Link to the Plan: navigators-5-chapter-bible-reading-plan.pdf.
A person reads each of the following passages once a week for 26 weeks:
Deuteronomy 6
Psalm 51
Mathew 5-7
Romans 8
Ephesians 4
Yes, you will read the following texts 26 times over the course of the next six months!!
I’m trying it out, and so far, it is great. These texts are theologically loaded.
Thanks for Reading

May God richly bless you this day!
