{"id":1214,"date":"2022-04-09T13:34:22","date_gmt":"2022-04-09T13:34:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stevebelsheim.com\/?p=1214"},"modified":"2024-01-17T01:08:58","modified_gmt":"2024-01-17T01:08:58","slug":"who-is-jesus-christ-to-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stevebelsheim.com\/?p=1214","title":{"rendered":"Who is Jesus Christ to You?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve got a couple of questions for you to ponder when you&#8217;ve got some quiet time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>TODAY, WHO IS JESUS CHRIST TO YOU?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>WERE NUCLEAR WORLD WAR III TO BREAK OUT AND THE RADIOACTIVE CLOUD IS CLOSING IN ON YOU, WHO WOULD JESUS CHRIST BE TO YOU THEN?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hopefully, your answer is, \u201cJesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.\u201d But, if that\u2019s not the case, there\u2019s still hope for you to appropriate God\u2019s free gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ.&nbsp;&nbsp; While a prayer in and of itself doesn\u2019t save you, if you pray this prayer and genuinely mean it from the bottom of your heart, you will be saved:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Lord, Jesus Christ, the only unique Son of God, thank You for Your free gift of eternal life.&nbsp; I know I\u2019m a sinner who cannot save myself no matter what I do, and I deserve to spend eternity in hell.&nbsp; But, I know that because You loved me so much, You voluntarily died on the cross for me taking my sins upon Yourself, and You physically bodily rose from the grave showing that Your sacrificial death was sufficient payment to give me eternal life in Heaven.&nbsp; I now repent of my sins and trust alone in what You did for my eternal salvation.&nbsp; Please take control of my life as I now receive You as my Lord and Savior. &nbsp;Thank You so much for saving me.&nbsp; I am now Yours forever!<\/em> (Scripture references: John 1:1-4, 11-14; John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:21-26; Isaiah 53:4-6; Mark 1:15; Acts 16:31; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10, 13; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 10:27-29).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you sincerely prayed this prayer, you need to become a part of a Bible-believing church body.&nbsp; Don&#8217;t hesitate to contact me at <a href=\"mailto:steve@stevebelsheim.com\">steve@stevebelsheim.com<\/a>, and I\u2019ll try my best to direct you to a church that teaches biblical truth.&nbsp; If you have any questions about salvation through Jesus Christ, please contact me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve got a couple of questions for you to ponder when you&#8217;ve got some quiet time.
